Daiko’s Video Widget - Time for update

The success of the Video Widget has been tremendous, and I have several requests for an update of the widget. It is now time to get it done and the following planned enhancements in the upcoming version 2.0:
- Option to specify conditional tags - that is in plain english an option to say that you just want the widget to display on certain pages or simply just on the front page.
- Option to add more than one Video Widget. Combine that with the above and you’ll be able to have different sets of videos running on different sections of your blog.
- Easier size adjustment. Size will only be specified in width and it will automatically calculate the optimal height depending on the main format of your videos being 4:3 or 16:9.
- Optional link. An option to add a specified link instead of the automatic Title-link to Google, YouTube or MySpace, in case you for example have written a post about the video that you want your audience to go to.
Don’t hesitate to add to the list of feature requests and stay tuned for the revamped and updated Daiko’s Video Widget 2.0. (It is hard to promise a time for release, but we are talking days not weeks)
