As we all wait for Steve Jobs to reveal the secrets that bloggers and others have been speculating on for months now, it seems that someone has put the 2008 keynote up on Wikipedia (Later removed as vandalism). Fraud or leak? It looks rather convincing and you can compare it to the actual keynote later on today.

A new visit to the iPhone website shows that Apple has added the Apple logo ahead of iPhone. This may be a sure sign that they are preparing to separate the Apple iPhone trademark from the Cisco iPhone trademark.
Google has released SketchUp 6, the latest version of its 3D sketching software.
The new edition introduces the capabilities of making models from photos, adding watermarks and a selection of 3D text and display styles. The Pro version also features a selection of layout tools designed to help create presentations from sketched scenes.
Cisco didn’t agree with Apple after all! They are now filing a law suit against Apple for infringement on their trademark. This is highly unprofessional of Apple.
“Cisco entered into negotiations with Apple in good faith after Apple repeatedly asked permission to use Cisco’s iPhone name,” said Mark Chandler, senior vice president and general counsel, Cisco. “There is no doubt that Apple’s new phone is very exciting, but they should not be using our trademark without our permission.
The battle is on. What will the price tag be? Either they rename the thing, agree with Cisco or …..
Apple is very active in protecting their brandname and their Trademarks. The name iPhone was first taken by Cisco and is now back after an agreement between Apple and Cisco.
The next will be the domain name www.iphone.com. If you check some other domain names like www.imac.com and www.ipod.com, you will be forwarded to www.apple.com. A sign of Apples hard work to protect their brand name.
The owner of iphone.com can now look forward to some pleasent rounds of negotiations with a comfortable price tag, or….?

Apple’s servers seems to be overloaded so you might not be able to see it right away. Why didn’t they ask Google to serve it instead of doing it themselves?
